- Travelling west towards Keswick from Penrith on the A66 take the first turning left signed to Keswick
- Turn right at the junction with the A591 from Ambleside and head downhill past the Twa Dogs public house and continue on past the cenotaph near the town centre and through the pedestrian crossing following the road as it bends left and right through the pedestrian crossing at the western end of the Market Place.
- Turn left at the small mini roundabout just 100 yards further on and then filter to go on the right hand fork past the taxi rank and bus stops outside of Booths Store.
- Turn right again and ignore the turning right to go into Booth’s car park but continue along to the end of the road. You will see some car parking areas ahead
- Follow the road around to the right and head past the Elm Court car park, taking the next entrance, just after Lonsdale House, into the car park. Space no 6 is clearly marked and is the sixth space of the parking bays on the right hand side.
